Type: Med/Surg PRN 

Location: Des Moines, IA 

Fidé is currently seeking an RN with two years of Med/Surg experience for a 13-week per diem contract in Des Moines, IA

Duties:

• Must be willing to float to other facilities

• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families.  Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health with in the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.  

Requirements:

• 2 yr of acute med surg experience - Required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - Required   BSN - Preferred   

• Level 1 Trauma Experience & Travel experience - Preferred

Items Needed For Submission: 

• Current IA RN License - compact allowed

• Current AHA 

• Current Skills Checklist 

• Resume with full work history, no gaps

• Must list how many shifts the candidate is able to pick up per week 

• Drivers License 

• EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used)

• Final RTO or any scheduling requests 

• Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment

Shift: Evenings    

Hours Per Day: 12.00

Days Per Week: 1.00

Local Hourly Pay: $43.00

Local Weekly Package: $516.00
