Type: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics  

Location: Plymouth, NH   

Fidé is currently seeking an RN with Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics experience for a 13-week contract in Plymouth, NH   

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 1+ years of current Obstetrics experience. 2 years Current OB/L&D experience – Required. THIS NEED REQUIRES LABOR & DELIVERY AND OBSTETRICS EXPERIENCE.  FROM CHECK-IN TO DISCHARGE, A TRAVEL NURSE IS NEEDED WHO IS COMFORTABLE IN ALL ASPECTS OF DELIVERY AND AFTER CARE.  
Post-Partum AND Mother/Baby experience - Required
NURSERY Experience - Required
Apgar/Routine testing experience - Required
AWHONN and STABLE - Strongly preferred - Travelers with one or both of these certifications will receive first consideration
Lactation experience - Preferred
BSN - Highly preferred
Previous travel - Preferred
THIS TRAVEL POSITION IS IN A CRITICAL CARE HOSPITAL.  THIS TRAVELER MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN LABOR AND DELIVERY AND MOTHER-BABY, POST PARTUM AND NURSERY - WE REQUIRE A WELL-ROUNDED TRAVELER RN WHO IS COMFORTABLE FROM CHECK-IN TO DISCHARGE OF MOM AND BABY.   
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.  RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!  
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).   Labor Day holiday  will not be approved.  Thank you!
Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process.  The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.  

The OB Unit can manage High-Risk pregnancy management, including (but not limited to):
Preterm Labor
High blood pressure
Diabetes
VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section)
Prenatal testing

Compliance Credentials Needed for Submission:
  • Current NH RN License – compact allowed
  • Current AHA BLS
  • Current NRP
  • COVID Vaccination Card, preferred
  • Skills Checklist from within the past 12 months
  • Final RTO
  • Driver’s License or Permanent Address written on resume
  • Resume
  • Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
Hours Per Week: 36
Shift: Days 7a-7p
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holiday rotation required
On Call Requirements: No Call
