Fidé is currently seeking a Emergency Room RN with experience for a 13-week contract in Asheville, NC

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of current Emergency Room experience. Requested Skill Set: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred.

Must have: 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.

Unit Specifics: 90,000 square feet, 94 exam room emergency department
·Number of Beds : 101
·Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
·Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
·Type of equipment : baxter pumps, GE monitors
·Documentation system: Cerner
·Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
·Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
·Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit

Current ENPC or willing to obtain by 90 days within hire
