Fidé is currently seeking an Adult ICU RN with experience for a 13-week contract in Lander, WY
Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of current Adult ICU RN experience. Critical care registered nurses are adept at providing such care in settings where patients have suffered a heart attack, stroke, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress or other severe medical issues. Specific critical care nurse duties and responsibilities can include: Assessing a patient’s condition and planning and implementing patient care plans Treating wounds and providing advanced life support Assisting physicians in performing procedures Observing and recording patient vital signs Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly/adjusting ventilator/IABP Administering intravenous fluids and medications Suctioning Collaborating with fellow members of the critical care team Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment Acting as patient advocate Providing education and support to patient families Critical care nurses may also care for pre- and post-operative patients. In addition, some serve as case managers and policy makers, while others perform administrative duties.
Compliance Credentials Needed for Submission:
- Current WY RN License – compact allowed
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- Current AHA PALS
- COVID Vaccination Card, preferred but not required
- Skills Checklist from within the past 12 months
- Drivers License
- EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used)
- Final RTO no more than seven days
- Resume
- Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
Hours Per Week: 36
Shift: Days 7a-7p
Travel Hourly Pay: $30.00
Travel Stipend: $1246.00
Travel Weekly Package: $2326.00
Local Hourly Pay: $56.00
Local Weekly Package: $2016.00
