Fidé is currently seeking an RN with current Med/Surg Rehab experience for a 13-week contract in Des Moines, IA
Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of current Med/Surg Rehab experience. ideal candidate has Acute Rehab and/or Med Surg background in hospital setting. MUST be able to handle a variety of patients independently (neuro, ortho, trauma, oncology, etc). at least 1 recent travel contract completed. EMR - EPIC
Unit size:
- ILH 12 BEDS, IMMC 23 BEDS (ILH has capped beds currently)
N:P ratio:
- IMMC Day 4.5, Eve 4.5 Night 7.6 (Max Ratio Day 6 and Night 9) ILH Day/Night 6
What types of Rehab patients will the clinician care for?
- Acute Rehab patient population can be: Spinal cord injury, brain injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, general debilitation. Nurses with Acute Rehab background or Med-Surg background are the most successful with our population.
Compliance Credentials Needed for Submission:
- Current IA RN License – compact allowed
- Current AHA BLS
- COVID Vaccination Card, exemptions allowed upon request
- Skills Checklist from within the past 12 months
- Drivers License
- EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used)
- Final RTO no more than seven days off
- Resume
- Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
Hours Per Week: 36
Shift: Days: 7p-7a
On Call: None
Weekends: every other or every 3rd including holiday rotation
