Type: Operating Room / OR/Scrub – Circulate

Location: Des Moines, IA

Fidé is currently seeking an RN with Operating Room / OR/Scrub – Circulate for a 13-week contract in Des Moines, IA

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of Operating Room / OR/Scrub – Circulate experience. EMR – EPIC experience needed. Avg. caseload – We average 35-50 cases per day. Our expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes. Special equipment – We have 3 Davinci robots, we use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and we use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma. We don’t do many ortho joints. How many suites – We have 16 OR’s. We run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.Service lines - Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures. Scrub or Circulate – both would be preferred. Other – the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday. strong experience in majority of cases including ortho and neuro

• Current Iowa RN License – compact allowed

Start Date & End Date: 12/12/2022-3/12/2023

Hours Per Week: 40

Shift: 6:30a-5p -- scheduling determined based on cases; 40 hrs/week

Weekend Requirements: call schedule; Fri 5p through Mon 6:30a

Holiday Requirements: TBD

On-Call Requirement: up to 1 day/week and 4 weekends per 13 week contract
