Fidé is currently seeking a RN with Operating Room experience for a 13 week contract in Hackensack, NJ.
Minimum Requirements:
Unit Name/Description: Cardiac Surgery 2 years experience in cardiac surgery.BLS-AHA. NIHSS. Preferred experience: CABG, MVR/AVR, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, Aneurysms, Ecmo/Impella, Lead Extractions.
Job Description:
Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments. Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.
Compliance Credentials Needed:
Knowledge, Education and Skills Required: Current NJ RN License (compact allowed) - COVID Vaccination plus booster, Current Flu shot status - Current NIHSS - AHA - BLS required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required. Current licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing - Required. BSN - Preferred

Shift: 01:00 02:00 8.00
13 weeks with potential to extend. M-F: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Holidays required. On-Call typically 2x per week and 1-2 weekends per month.
