Fidé is currently seeking an RN with Telemetry experience for a 13-week contract in Tulsa, OK
Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of current Med/Surg experience. This is a 28 bed cardiac telemetry unit, caring for all cardiac needs. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6. The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry.
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: • Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work: • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

- Current AHA BLS

- Current CPI or willing to obtain
