Type: Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech

 

Location: Batesville, AR

 

Fidé is currently seeking a TECH with Cardiac Cath Lab experience for a 13-week contract in Batesville, AR

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech experience. Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Effectively interact with patients, families, & visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Provides physical and psychological support to patients. Meditech EMR preferred. Must interpret cardiac rhythms, scrub, circulating, monitoring experience. Needs to be able to run Siemens Aera MRI independently- REQUIRED. Experience with MRI, CT and x-ray- REQUIRED

Job Description: Performs radiographic MRI examinations, and related procedures using a variety of technical skills and organization. Responsible for quality assurance and quality control activities of the radiographic procedures. Transport patients to and from various patients care areas being aware of individual patient needs. Coordinate quality patient care with special attention to patient age and needs. Maintain proper radiation protection for self and patients.
Communicates and interacts well with the staff, allied health care personnel, providers, patients and the community, so as to project a positive image of the department and the hospital. Coordinate quality patient care with special attention to patient age and needs. Maintain and complete patient records and reports. Maintain confidentiality of the hospital related information. Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to every changing workload, with the willingness to work in general X-ray, fluoro, OR cases and CT scan. Be alert and able to concentrate on work with many interruptions and have good memory retention for work and cases completed for the duration of shift and on call hours.
Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by meeting annual requirements for validation of competency in specified skills. Participate in teaching, mentoring and overseeing students enrolled in Imaging Technology Programs during clinical rotation and students shadowing in department as part of an internship or cadet program. Follow the Standards of Behavior, utilize TeamSTEPPS tools and participate in Patient Experience. Perform any other assigned duties as assigned. Works under the direct day-to-day supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager.

Start Date & End Date: 12/19/2022-3/19/2023

Hours Per Week: 40

 

Shift: 7:30A – 4:00P (8 Hour Days) / Weekends for call only / 10 to 15 call shifts per month

 

Weekend Requirements: For call only

Holiday Requirements: TBD

On-Call Requirement: 10 to 15 call shifts per month
